Sifvert is a long story
Sifvert has a long tradition of trading behind it. Four generations of the Sifvert family have been running the company for 130 years. The founder was Axel Wilhelm Sifvert, who started the enterprise at Regeringsgatan in the year 1861.
The company has evolved from being an ironmonger, with a typical ironmonger’s assortment, into presently being a whole-sale business, supplying many companies in the Stockholm area with fasteners.
The shop is still in existence, and lies at Lindhagensgatan 53, adjacent to the whole-sale business.
The almost one and a half century long experience is a strength to lean on and a responsibility to carry for today’s owners and co-workers.
